Nice, we fished Sunday and got 5 YFT, 2 mahi, and 2 Skipjacks. Unbelievable fishing!

We fished Seth's boat yesterday. Cobia fished mine Friday afternoon. All the tuna bites for us were between 2:30-5:30pm. The ocean came alive after everyone left. Mark

We were wondering if it was going to happen. When the yellowbirds pushed up that school of Skippy's it was on. Everyone was gone we were the only boat left except for a few greensticks that were over a mile away. When we were leaving we called them over. The first pass was a 6 banger the second pass was a 5 banger then we picked up a few more after that. All I can tell you we Laid the heat on them so we could get back on them!!!

What kind of spread did you guys run? think that's a dredge in the pic. We just ran seawitch/ballyhoo. and a bird/green machine shotgun.

Also mono or fluoro? what lb?

It's a good thing all rods were rigged windon. 3 guys in a small boat with five fish is a challenge. Leadering those fish would have complicated matters considerably.

We run a mixed spread of ballyhoo/witches or naked baits on 30ft of 80lb flouro and spreader bars and yes, we started pulling a dredge for the tuna.

50-70lbs might be a bit generous, but the majority were over 50. Fun day, thanks for the help fellas. Hope they stick around for a minute.

Thanks, we used 150lb mono which seemed heavy to me. Next trip will try 80lb flouro.

We fished Monday. Just us and our buddy boat outside the fleet. Fish started pushing skippys and airing out. Drag right through them and got covered up several times. Anywhere from 3-7 at a time. Had 24 bites. Lost a few boat side trying to leader. Only had three total on board, hard to keep 7 rods tight at all times. Better class of fish yesterday than Thursday of last week.
