Default Beauford area waterfront restaurants

Hi folks,

I'm planning on driving the boat down to the Cape Lookout area next week and spend a few days camping with the family.

Can anyone recommend waterfront restaurants in the Beauford area easily accessible by boat?

thanks!

Spouters Inn is a great place to eat and is on the water with docks.

All the restaurants in Beaufort are accessable by waterfront. If you are in a small boat (anything trailerable) you can dock at the Beaufort docks (up against the bulkhead) for free short term. We did it a couple of weeks ago and visited several shops and restautants there. Some of the places further west on the waterfront have their own docks for patrons only. Some examples are Fins, The Spouter Inn, etc. Over the years we have eaten at all the places along there and they all are good. Some of our favorites are The Boardwalk Cafe, Fins and The Beaufort Grocery (it is a block off the waterfront.)

Front Street Grill - also called Stillwater. Best - and most expensive - on the waterfront. Many of the places down there are, shall we say, great places to drink. Not all are great places to eat.

Front Street Grill hands down best food. Not cheap but worth it.

One of my favorite places! But it's over at Morehead City....around the corner from the Beaufort waterfront.

I always enjoy a good steak @ Ribeye's.
