Default Surveyor - Morehead City area

I have a 46' Bertram I need to get surveyed & appraised to sell. Anyone have a recommendation for someone in the Morehead City area?

Boat will be for sale soon if anyone's interested. Will be docked in Spooners Creek within the next few days.

Also, any recommendation for a good broker to sell it?

Not my boat, it's a repossession where i work.

Thanks for any input.

I really like T Harris for the brokerage work. I don't have his number right now but I he is a top notch guy and is VERY meticulous with a boat. He does have web site and he his dad also has Atlantic Marine down in Wilmington so he has the connections to move some boats. He knows MHC very well and could recommend the surveyor / appraiser.

No need for a sellers survey, a buyer will order his own survey. Surveyors are not "appraisers" but a certified SAMS or NAMS guy will put a value on the vessel that is "bankable".

Your Broker will (should) do a market analysis and recommend a price point depending on a list of variables. Best of luck with your sale.
