Beaufort SC for an afternoon, lunch recommendations?
Heading down to Savannah, GA for the weekend and stopping in Beaufort for the afternoon on the way. Would like to hear your lunch spot recommendations and anything else to not miss for a few hours before heading on to Savannah.

Try Q on Bay, it’s downtown along the waterfront.

She Crab soup and local oysters at Madison's. Diamond cut Flounder at Dockside. For BBQ, Q on Bay. Go see the Sheldon Church ruins just outside of town. Just a stones throw off your route to Savannah.

It's Shem Creek and it's no where near Beaufort. It's on Mt Pleasant which is above Charleston which is way above Beaufort which is above Savannah along the coast.....

Tie up at the large public access dock, walk bay street and find something you like.

I guess that I assumed you were traveling by road. If by boat, then my recommendations won't work unless you rent a car....

Fish Camp in Port Royal. I like Q on Bay, as well. Either can be accessed by car or boat.

Luther's Rare and Well Done has a pretty good burger if you are in the mood for that.

Saltus River Grill has been good the few times I've been there for dinner. I usually go to Q on Bay though if I'm in the area during lunch. Typically been pretty quick and good patio out back.

Why don’t you enlighten us with what you do like, instead of what you don’t. Let me guess, Foolish Frog?
