I am thinking about making a run on Friday and Saturday. Right now weather is looking good. Anyone else plan to head out.

I haven’t fished there since August. I would think the bite on yellowfin should be pretty hot. A lot of wind lately keeping boats tied to the dock. All I know I haven’t been offshore in months and jonsing hard for some blue water.

I always try to follow a charter usually the inshore guys as I don’t like to leave in the dark there. If anyone wants to buddy boat let me know nice to have a few fiends out there. I plan to push off the dock 630 or so

We're planning to shove off around 3:30 on Saturday morning. We were out last in October, so hopefully my track is still good.

Skiffler are you still planning Friday and Sat? I'm still have decided on what day I'm going to make a run for it. I'm a 6-630 person as well. I haven't ran the inlet since Aug so I know my track isn't worth 2 cents.

Dredge was out working, told working along the bridge channel. As far as the bar, once past the 10 buoy, start NE, keep the wreck buoys on your port side, follow the bar north until you see a slot, don't follow the marked channel.

https://saw-nav.usace.army.mil/MANTE..._Inlet_Bar.pdf for a visual.

I'm rolling out from Wanchese about 0500.

Hey Jon... That Army Corp scan is two weeks old. The bar probably has red across most of it now. Ugh.

So those waypoints are more than likely no good.

Good info @Able. Maybe I'll wait for the fleet since I haven't been out since 10/7.

Waypoint 1 is close, about 7' there last time I crossed. But the insides are good, and gives ya a visual overall. Like I said, just run up the bar until you feel comfy or wait for a big boy.
