You might want to consider towing your boat to south Florida. Probably save a few thousand dollars on the repower. A lot of NC Suzuki dealers will tell you they can’t compete with the ones in Florida because of the volume they do down there.

I called around about 6 months ago for pricing on a 250 & 300 Zuke. After calling around 7 places in NC/SC only one place came with 2k of the FL pricing.
Some places were 6-7K higher.

I spoke with my local dealer that would be servicing my new engine where ever I bought it. He knew he couldn’t compete with larger dealers. So I bought my engine in FL, had it shipped to my local dealer and I bought all the rigging from them and they did the install. Everyone was happy

Did the same, no complaints from International Marine. Can be difficult to get to answer the phone sometimes but I'm satisfied

Another vote for Universal Marine. Norm Warner can be reached at (252) 723-1577 or (252) 342-1280. He’s awesome, and keeps his labor rate low because it’s just him, a hired hand, and his wife working the office. I’ve used him for almost five years now and he has saved my ass three times.

I will second Brazda marine. They are upfront and do great work. I drive from Topsail Beach to have them service my Pioneer with Suzuki.
