Default Sunset Bridge Question

There is a structure by the Sunset Bridge on the island side. Any idea what it was? Looks like there is a concrete pad and along the wall are several walls jutting out.

The remains of the old swing bridge is my guess without a picture.

I know exactly where you are talking about and they are none of the above. Not much help. I have fished off them numerous times for 40 plus years. Curious my self.

I don’t see it in pictures of the old bridge. You sure it was there before the new bridge was built? Looks like a foundation for something. The mystery continues.

Okay, I was told something today about that structure. I was told it was supposed to be a hotel/motel where they were to have small rooms on the water. This was started in the 60's and apparently, never finished.
