We put a leash on about four hundred this morning. Getting our fall pogey stew started for the rest of the fall.

You could walk across the large schools of large pogies west of the HB pier this morning. Most I have seen in a number of years.

i saw all you guys down that way and the nice wrapped Cape Horn heading that way on the troll. Wife wanted to walk the beach and I about just kept going straight in the ocean!

The armada was out there, either drum fishing, spanish fishing, or practicing for the Open.

Yep we were out there smokin' the spanish. That bait was crazy thick from HB pier to Shallotte Inlet.

Thanks guys for the help with bait. We ended up 6th in the Capt'n Hooks Kingfish Bash with a nice 30 lb king.
