Looking forward to another year of fishing the US Open. Let's get a roll call going and I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on the implemented changes this year (COVID and hurricane related).

Won’t be as festive but from what I’ve been seeing, fishing should be awesome. Lots of bait and much cooler than last few years. I like where the weigh in will be. It’s awesome that the organizers worked hard to pull it off!

We’ve got waterway docks so plenty of water flow... if temps keep dropping. Last year we penned up a ton of bait and they fried like KFC chicken. A few guys Iv known sink pins off the beach but I don’t think it will be that drastic this year. It’s been cold this week. Mullet run is starting to thin out so easier for the eyes the morning of after staying up all night before day 1

Weathers been looking great since the tournament ( shalotte tournament) was postponed to next weekend. Now you can pick between the dreaded East wind Saturday or good chance of rain Sunday. Hope the weather for the open is good.

Let’s add some action! Who’s ready to play? Secret sauce is blurred out! If I knew how to add a video I would. Sport mode on these new 300v8s sounds wicked!

Nice looking rigs! Yozuri 6 inch surprisingly caught several good fish along the beach this weekend.

Ramp at the wildlife is gonna be a chit show...better launch early.
... beware there's a charter kid who thinks the ramps belong to him....he said " I fish outta here every day" when he backed in on my docked boat with 2 ramps open while I was in my truck.... LOL

Strong west wind and bait gone south I don’t think oak island will be the place. Great weather forecast but will be muddy muddy inshore. Bait and fish from Shalotte to myrtle. GOOD water there also. Fish were caught here today but when last batch of pogies got gone it shut down. Stacked up south of here.
