Anybody know if there is much problem with theft from boats docked along Taylor’s Creek in Beaufort NC

I have never heard of that happening over there. In Oriental I have had my GPS antenna and dock cart go missing. I think that is due to the amount of Gypsy’s traveling through the ICW (it’s really the first place to stop when heading south and getting into the Neuse). I think from there they anchor out in Morehead. Beaufort would run them off especially the town docks over there.

If its stealable, it can be stolen no matter where its at this day in time. I leave things out that I shouldnt but I try to at least take in the big items.

I've owned a home in Beaufort for 10 years now and was a regular visitor for all of my life prior to that. I would say there is generally less theft in Beaufort than most towns. I've never had anything stolen, but I also wouldn't leave my shiny gold reels sitting out. I've not heard of any of the boat electronics theft that has hit the Wilmington area etc...I've never head of theft when you get off the water a block which suggests that the thievery that is there is either transients or thieves targeting transients.
