Just now realized he was Downeaster on other forums. Same as many- didn’t always agree but admired his passion.

Sad to hear. I probably agreed with him more often than not. Mainly I think I learned some things from some of his posts. Seemed more knowledgeable on many of the topics than most. RIP

Wow, that’s crazy. I enjoyed hearing his side especially about the flounder closure. He was a guy that even if you didn’t agree with his thoughts, they were interesting and you could relate to how he felt. God speed and tight lines brother

May the crazy old timer rest in peace. Even though we had disagreements, I'd still would have loved to seen him fishing and shot the shit with him on the water. I'm betting he will be cussing all of us from the grave.

He will be missed. He had very strong opinions on subjects and always had conviction and data to back them up.
I will miss his contributions.
