Default buddy boat out of hatteras

I am looking for a buddy boat to go out of Hatteras and fish mainly for mahi. I am a lifelong freshwater fisherman, but a novice saltwater one. We will staying up in Rodanthe, so I will be trailering my boat. It is a 21ft. c c. We will be there 6th - 13th June. Would like to get 3 to 4 days if the weather permits. Also up for inshore fishing as well.

3 to 4 fishable days in a week, I think we all would like that. I run out thru Ocracoke and if mother nature and my schedule permit, I will give you a shout and we can hook up. Only time will tell.

Weather for 3-4 days offshore in a 21'er is about as likely as the rioters in Minneapolis stopping any time soon.. Would love to see it but wouldn't get your hopes up - wind has been brutal most of this year with limited windows.

If you do get favorable seas definitely follow a charter boat out

Yes but as we all know, a lot can change between now and then. Right now Ventusky has the wind picking up in the afternoon. Fingers crossed.

We’re going to try to get out at 4:00 and be back by 10. We’re planning on going north if the 280 rocks. Anybody else willing to go?

Do you have a recent trail on your plotter. I ran through the inlet a couple of times last week in a skiff... no problem in daylight reading the water. It looks like the CG pulled the cans.

A lot of the charter boys were going down to Ocracoke to get out.
