Default Price check 2019 seapro 219

Looking to pull the trigger on a seapro this week. Local dealer is staying hard $65k OTD for a leftover 2019 deep V 219 model. Typical options- Trim tabs, ttop, full seating, trailer, 200 zuk etc.
It’s about 4K off msrp. Don’t know much about new boats but I feel like that’s a lot for a 2019, would be comfortable if it was a 2020 but this one is the exact color combo I want.

thoughts?

Not trying to discourage you but there’s no way I’d spend 65k for a 21’ mid tier boat or even an upper tier boat for that matter, especially a year old model wether it’s new or not. In a few months ‘21 models will be coming out. Like Evan said 65k could easily buy a very nice used boat with warranty.

I'm a Seapro fan from the word go but 65K for a 21 seems about 5-8K optimistic.

I looked at a 26’ Sea Pro on display at the boat show in Greensboro this winter and was really impressed with the lack of quality of the hardware and fixtures on the boat. We purchased a 2019 Sea Hunt 234 last spring and surprisingly the finish and quality was better than the Sea Pro. Loaded out with the options you listed including a 1242 Garmin touch screen and VHF package and a 200hp Yammy for $65k new and much more room. I really thought the Pro would be a higher quality boat. Of course this is my opinion. Hope it helps. Good Luck!

Default I have a 2018 239 sea pro. We love it, but I think that price is steep.

I think you will find some bargains in a few weeks with 10MM people filing unemployment claims in the last two weeks.

I would look around for a good used Sea Pro. I have a 2004, 220 Sea Pro and I love it, I paid $13,000. There are some good deals out there especially now with so many out of work. Get away from the Dealers and look for sales from individuals within or even out of state. I had to go out of state.

Default Thanks to all!

Appreciate all the responses, definitely reconfirmed my position. I walked out with my final offer of $60k a few days ago, haven’t heard back from them yet so I guess they’re very proud of that boat.

will try to be patient and find the right one, this quarantine just has me itching to get out on the lake!

^^^This^^^

I have a '99 235 Seapro with 300 hours I bought for 12K...has been plenty of elbow grease getting her to shine and maybe another G in upgrades/maintenance to make her perfect but - the idea of spending 5X that for less boat- new or not - no way.

Happy shopping to you OP.

Where are you located? 65K for a 21' boat left over from 2019 seems high to me. I know there are places I could get a 23' cc fairly well equipped for that price and probably less.

you can also tell them another 6.6 million folks filed for jobless claims today. It might seem like inventories are tight now and may get tighter still with less production ahead of the boating season. But I would be patient on prices here as boat prices are usually pretty correlated to the economy. And you may have folks who bought a boat last year looking for a way out of that 7 year boat loan. Good luck shopping though. If you find what you want and you get many years out of it you want care if you had to wait a bit.

We looked at a big variety of boats in the same price class and settled on a 239. The boats been great and the factory service and support is outstanding. They have really built a great following with the new one boats since the company was reacquired.

I’ve been on the market for that exact same boat and have been pricing them over the last 4 months. 65K for a 2019 219 is way too much. There’s a leftover 219 in my area priced at $59,900 and he’s the smallest Sea Pro dealer in the state. Legacy Marine in Stuart, Florida just reduced all of their 2020 219’s to 60,000 or less. Not sure if they’re expecting a major drop in sales or what but they’re the cheapest I’ve seen as of late. All boats mentioned are hard top, trim tabs, 200hp or above Zuke or Merc. Hope this helps
