Default Ramp survey on NCWRC Site

If you have not seen the survey yet, could not hurt to fill one in for them to show we are interested in the ramp situation in NC

another "Thanks" here...

Gotta wonder, if NC is interested in a survey of boaters, why announce only on obscure NCWRC website? Why not send out survey to registered boat owners?

I for one, would have never known except for "Shemstreet's" thread.

Bump to keep this at the top...Anyone think NC will actually spend any fishing license money for a ramp? It's worth a try!

Yep, I filled out the survey but I must agree with fish factory, I don't think these folks at the WRC are interested in building new ramps. They are proposing to re-do the public ramp over at Beaufort, but I don't see why they should bother unless they can have more parking with the improvement.

They built a new launching ramp last year up at Davis NC,,,right beside 70 highway..The ramp is nice with a breakwater around it. Then they put in 14 parking spaces. What a joke. Can you imagine how quickly those spaces fill up in the mornings??

Far as I am concerned on that one they could have used the money for beer and pretzels!

"14 spaces"

With the 400 million dollar lottery windfall, and our new fishing tax (license) you'd think there would be enough money for paved parking and valet assistants.

Yes, 14 parking spaces,,,I stopped and checked out the new ramp as I go that way pretty often..Its in the downeast area.

Seems to me they could have added more parking, but for some reason they didn't . Maybe they don't have the room, but it sure looks to me they had room to add more..

Oh well, at least they can say they built a new ramp up there....

Eastern Outfitters in Jacksonville had some paper forms just as you walked in the door. While I haven't been in many tackle storres lately, there should be some more around.

Done.

I also fill out the nice NMFS girls' survey when we come back to the docks. Hopefully that'll go somewhere.
