If you’re staying out there or have access, there is one on the island next to the tennis courts

It would be just a day trip. Is it a private island? Or do I have to be a member of a club

It is private to home owners to an extent. Club membership permits access, but only availalbe to residents and non residents who've owned property for at least 10 years. Easiest access to the ramp is to obtain a guest pass from a home owner.

It will only cost you about 2.5 million dollars to use ( the cost of a tear down ).
No parking at the ramp either.
Go to WB ramp, go early ......ICM

Thanks guys. Oh yeah I definitely know about going early to WB. Last time my wife had to wait in the truck for 2 hours to find a parking spot. It was not fun for the kids to sit in a holding pattern after catching our bait. I think there was a tournament that day.

The WB ramp sh1tshow typically ends in the fall. You should be fine unless you show up at noon on a slickcalm 75 degree day. If you’re sweating it, you can check ramp conditions on WBboatramp.com

That's kinda what I was thinking, but didnt know for sure. I've met a captain there for 2 charters previously on a sat morning, and it seemed like it was pretty open

Its pretty sad there are only 3 public boat ramps in Wilmington, given the large number of boats.... Look at a place like Morehead city, they have way smaller population, and way more boat ramps, public and private and pay per use.

There are a couple private boat ramps off middle sound loop rd but they all have multiple year waiting lists.
