We limited in an hour and 10min. 18-20”. Caught another 20 including larger fish but already killed the limit since the 1448 is bare bones and no culling! Same spot same tide this morning, 1 fish! Talk about shutting down! Froze our asses off

Weak fish are funny you can catch a million at the nearshores and they are all the same 16inches. Iv heard up in the new York area they get like 10#s. Keeping one wouldn't be as bad if it was 10#s.

We use to catch a lot of big ones in NC, a lot of 4-5lbers and several from 7-10lbs. They use to kill the big ones at night off the catwalk on Oregon inlet bridge.

ive chosen to boycott flounder period. We all should. Let the commercially caught flounder rot on the shelf. I’ll damn sure not pay to eat fish I can’t ( legally) catch and cook myself. Dang that to hades!😂😂

if ya catch flounder, cut their heads off and throw them back. Same with red snapper

I can't believe you guys haven't resorted to torches and pitchforks. There are a few people in NC getting wealthy at the expense of the fishery.
I can hire a guide and keep flounder but can't catch and keep one in my own boat? That is broken.

Since all the spot and croaker up there are tiny now you can probably fit your limit of them in there.
