Default Charter Recommendations Salvo

We’re spending a week in Salvo,NC and looking for a charter in a couple of weeks. I’ll have my son and 4 nephews ages 13-18. I live in South Florida and enjoy getting after the pelagics but from experience I know the boys just want continuous action and something they can eat is a bonus.

Thanks in advanced for any recommendations.

Check Oregon Inlet fishing center for bookings, Hatteras Marina and Pirates Cove.

Tuna and Mahi out of OI and mostly small mahi and bottom fish out of Hatteras right now..

The most popular boats are booked full but there are only a couple of boats out of the OI fleet I would avoid. All the rest are great.

What are you wanting to catch? That narrows it down a bit.

Really open on what we catch, the main goal is to keep rods in their hands and the lines tight as much as possible. They are 13-18 boys/cousins and short on patience.

Try getting on one of the nearshore boats out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Risky Business would be good if he's not booked.

If you want to do inshore Sneaky Pete Charters - Peter Cruger or Castaway Charters - Dave Watkins. Both fish out of the fishing center as well.
