Default Georgetown offshore

We are heading down next weekend staying in surf-side, but will be fishing out of Georgetown as much as the weather permits. Normally we target Kings and bottom fish out of Murrells Inlet, but have been going further south to avoid some of the crowds. I wanted to see if anyone would give me any advice on where to target kings and where the best bottom fishing areas are. Not asking for your secret spot but would like Any information you would be willing to provide! If the weather is good then we are going to try the parking lot as well as vermillion. I was curious if anyone has been catching anything in these locations.

tight lines

Dustin

We caught AJs and spade fish at vermillion a few weeks ago. Id say take live bait(finger mullet or pogies) to the nearshore reef or vermillion. If you see any jelly balls grab a few with a net as you are going out.

Put it some baits on the surface and a few down a little deeper. With a good current you should be able to hang these over the reef. Send the finger mullet to the bottom for some flounder action on an outgoing tide.

Good luck.

PS. Also hit up the shell banks for some redfish

Thank you for the information. Is there any AR reefs that produce better than others this time of year? From what I have found there are several out of the inlet.
