Default Ocean Isle-Holden boat ramps 6/15

Hi All, will be camping off 905/ Sunset and bringing the Formula down, any suggestions for putting in and parking?

We were down a few weeks back and went to Wildlife at Oak Island and there wasn't a parking spot to be found, figured it will be crowded again this weekend.
any suggestions appreciated. and I don't mind paying a few bucks at a private ramp.

tight lines.

Your best bet will be oib as far as most parking, but with the jolly mon may fill up quick. Sunset Beach ramp fills up quick on weekends. Brick Landing might be your best bet!

I thought the Shallotte point Flounder tournament was Fri and Sat also this weekend? Bricklanding boat ramp is terrible when loading up since no one realizes there is a boat ramp there so they come by making crazy wakes. Sunset Beach needs another Lane to back down, needs to be made deeper, and needs some more parking. If you don't get there before 7-8 on the weekend you be parking in the grass.

Probably looking at 280 + boats fishing the Jolly Mon this weekend. Plus tourists putting in. Lot of these guy's fishing will be putting in 5:30 on.

There won't be parking anywhere.

The water will be , well lets just say I'm staying at the house this weekend.

Holden ramp has a lot of parking if your creative and don’t park in the street. If it’s full there is a private ramp across from the bridge next to Proco restaurant that you could pay to launch at. Closer you get to ocean isle the harder it will be to launch

Went out to pick up a couple things and figured I would check out the parking. Sunset has trailers in front of Dave's and down in front of the park. OIB is full, trailers in the field beside Sheffields. Bricklanding is up past Goose Creek.

To be expected I guess.

Wow, awesome report 4/0. That’s crazy, much busier than I thought it would be. I spent the weekend in Charleston, so I missed it all!

We hit Bricklanding about 6:30 Sat morning, lot was 3/4 full, feeling good,
ran out Shallotte inlet to AR440, trolled with no real luck, decided to just drift and catch some bottom dwellers with a few balloon baits out, caught some trout, sea bass, a zillion croakers, boys each got 3 sharks on the live baits, no kings but a great Day with my boys who still like to hang around their old man...
hope everyone had a great father's day..
