Default Our biggest mahi yet 100/400 today

my biggest one yet only weighed 30lbs but I thought he was bigger

and my wifes biggest came in right at 20lbs. We only managed 5 today but they were all a good size.

A great way to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary to boot. I'm glad she loves to fish!

Those are very nice fish. Mahi look heavier than they are. I caught a forty something pounder while offshore and for some reason it it dropped 22 lbs by the time it got on the scale.

Heck ya! Congrats. That’s an awesome few fish and will keep your wife hooked in the game for a while! I know mine has a few fish that are heavier than ones Iv caught so it makes for a fun day trying to beat her records!

When chartering one of the first lessons is you always hand the rod to a wife or child in the party when you see it's a big fish. Then you get to mercilessly pick on dad about being bested by a woman (or child). They will quickly jump in and help and not only is it great fun but you can just about guarantee they'll be back so dad can get a shot at redemption (not that he has a chance! )
