Default As usual my wife is better than me at everything

We moved out to Buckhorn Reservoir back in October and I've managed to pull exactly ZERO fish out of it. Julie on the other hand has been killing it. I've decided to hit golf balls at her while she fishes.

About a week ago she's fishing and I'm doing my best to donk her in the head. I'm failing miserably and she starts yelling for me to come see what she's caught. This is what I find at the waters edge. I felt like pushing her in the water. LOL

Yup, since she knows how to make a little worm wiggle just right she can get them to swim right up to her.

At least you're not walking into the local tackle shop where they put your wife's name in the local fishing news with the name of your boat (no mention of the skipper) and ask every time you come in, " Is your wife still kickin your ass?"

That lake is cursed!! The first time me and my FIL put the boat in we were cruising along at 30mph and ran aground. We were 500 yards from any shoreline. That was the last time we went back. Which was a shame cuz we used to live 20 mins away.

Well if she used to work in the school system I worked with her for a bit. Just funny how small a world it is.

Yeah, I was looking to marry up and she was interested in doing some charity work. We met and married in the span of about 6 weeks back in '95.

It was the very first body of water I ever put a boat on. About 20 mins into our maiden voyage I found a rock pile that was sitting in what I thought was the main channel. Seriously, 20 mins into my first trip and I managed to tear off one blade and bend the hell out of the other three. I found a chart not long ago that would have been a big help that day .

I’d tell her the only reason she caught it was the splashing noise your golf balls were making sounded like surfacing baitfish. That’s a pretty good bass!
