Default Saturday 5/18

Help, wanting to head out on Saturday but having conflicting information with forecasts reports. Some sites are indicating 1.5 ft at 8 sec and others are 3.5’ at 6 seconds

thanks

Yeah Saturday looks like a wash the boat and drink beer day. Sunday may be fishable.

I have Saturday, Monday and Tuesday available to go chase Mahi out of MHC. Saturday looks like crap. Monday and Tuesday look a little better but not much. Just my luck!

It'd be fishable but not exactly comfortable in a sportfisher, 34 or bigger Freeman or Prowler, 36 or bigger monohull

It's screaming now in Morehead. Doesn't look like it's going to get any better over the next few days. From experience, when it's blowing 15kts-20kts for 3 days, there is no way the ocean is 2-3' @ 5s. Unless I'm on something 50' or bigger, I'd stay at the dock.

Saturday will be a 3-4' sw chop, typical summer conditions.

Sunday looks like the better day to venture more than 10 miles out.

Boy that's great to know, if its 2 ft every 8 seconds we'll water ski on the way out. if its 4 ft every 5 seconds we will wear out crash helmet.

Looks like there is a decent window on Sunday... Anyone going to go out or is it a false hope and I should stay on at the house and wash the boat, mow the yard, etc...
