Default 19-21 ft. Bay Boat Suggestions

I recently sold my Cayman 246 and I am looking for a smaller used bay boat for inshore and nearshore. I have been eyeing the Sea Pro SV2100, but was wondering any other suggestions for this area? I fish Southport to Little River. My budget is $15,000. And yes, I have used the search function! Most results are outdated or for areas not local to me.

I just bought a 2008 187 scout sportfish with a Yamaha 115. I bought it for inshore/nearshore fishing out of Wilmington. Definitely take a look at them! Quality boat. There's a few for sale.

Thank you for the feedback. I have seen a few and they look pretty nice. I will look more closely at them.

I have the boat you need but I canít sell it until after king tourney season in October.
I fish the same area as you. I have a fully rebuilt 21 mako deep v hull. New 4lb foam new 86 gallon gas tank new seastR very good t top with new canvas
when you buy a used boat it 99% about the motor. Mine has a f175 xa with 3 1/2 years warranty left. Motor is mint with a whopping 145 hrs on it. Boat runs VERY dry and can handle more than you can. Will run 40 mph.
If you want to fish some together and try it out let me know. I live near Charlotte but from north myrtle. My folks are there and Iím down offer.
Plan on asking 18 for it but if you can wit til late October Iíll let it go for 15. Iím saving up for a f300 to go on a 25 mako Iím rebuilding. Hate to have to sell it. Itís a steal at 15. Includes trailer

I have an SV 2100 and I think they are pretty hard to beat in this size range.

If you want to drive to Texas I could make you a proud new owner Time to scratch that different boat itch

I appreciate it, but Texas is a bit far for me.

The Cayman was a very versatile and well built boat. We are wanting to build a house and I couldnít justify the cost of ownership with the amount of time I used it. So I am downsizing

I'm in CHS and just bought an 03 sv2100 with a 150 etec and love it so far. Will handle pretty nasty chop well and float in 11". Decent amount of storage. Front and rear decks are plenty big to fish multiple anglers. Coming out of the Cayman you might find the sea pro is a little more rugged or lack some fit and finish, but it's an awesome boat.

From my prior shopping experience and previous ownership of a Sea Pro SV 1900, the Sea Pro is hard to beat in that price range. Also look at Key West Bay Reef.

My SV1900 felt like a 21í offshore boat with the flared/raise bow.

Thanks for the feedback! I am also considering the Bay Reef, but hard to find a decent one in my budget.

I bought a 2004 sv2100 w/ Yamaha F150 two months ago, near your price point. Love the boat, and amazed at how dry the boat is even in 2-3' chop. Much dryer than my former 26' center console.

I have an 01 SV2100 with a 2006 Suzuki DF175 on it. I've been considering getting a different bay boat but I don't know if it's worth it...the SV2100 is a fantastic boat for the price and what you get. I have a newer offshore boat but for inshore fishing the SeaPro will get me everywhere I need to go and I don't have to worry about it like I do my other boat. I'm in Charleston if you ever want to go for a ride.

^^^^Interested to hear this as well^^^^

Mine runs out at 44 - 45 most of the time with a Merc 150 smoker and a Vengeance prop that could use some attention.
