Default Ocracoke inlet condition

Heading to OC next month. Just wondering how the inlet is looking? Iíve seen it marked well and Iíve seen it not marked at all and very popular on you tube with boats launching straight up in the air on the outer bar. Anyone have any updates?

Also, is the channel from Silver Lake to the inlet still marked well with decent water?

Thanks

It’s fine. Follow the cans and you will be just right. You can follow one of us if you feel the need.

Inlet is in good shape. There are a couple of floaters before you get to south point you need to arc around and not straight line between. Just fall in behind someone and get a plot line the first morning.

Lucky to have a good consistent (relatively) inlet compared to the other norther NC inlets.
