Default Speedcraft 25 - Twin 200 HPDI’s SOLD!!!!

Up for sale is a 1990 Speedcraft 25 with twin 200hp 2001 Yamaha HPDI’s. I acquired the boat from another forum member on here and have loved it dearly, but with the birth of our first son, my usage of it would not justify it being parked on the side of the house for such a long time until I can use it again. The boat handles like a much bigger boat. Everyone says it about the boat they’re selling but if you’ve ever been on one, you would know. LOA is around 27-1/2’. Boat had multiple overhauls done by the previous owner and I also did multiple as well.

NEW in 2018

Complete Electrical Rewire of the entire boat
Lenco Trim Tabs
2 - New Garmin GPS Units
New Transducer
4 - Duracell Group 31 AGM Batteries (Still under warranty)
2 - Battery switches
4 Bank onboard battery charge with isolation switch
Fusion 650 Head Unit
2 - JL Audio M880
2 - JL Audio M650
6- Wetsounds 8”
2 - JL Audio M6/600 Amps
Acrylic for new GPS Units
New Rod Holders and Cup Holders Added

The boat has grey with black striping seadek all over the floor and the bracket. Upholstery is in perfect condition. The boat has a live well, and great storage. Customer TTOP cover and engine cowling covers included as well. Boat has a 175 gallon fuel tank. New lines within the last year. Motors are in perfect shape with perfect compression. About to do 100hr service and will report numbers again.

Included in the sale:

Fortress Anchor with 20’ SS chain and 450 of rode.
Back Up fortress Anchor with 100’ rode. (Used for transom anchor at the sand bar)
10 Life Jackets
Bumpers
Flares
Fire Extinguisher
Tool Kit
Misc Emergency Supplies
Additional Rod Holders and Cup Holders for you to install

The trailer is a 2015 Loadmaster 7500lb twin axle trailer (ready for brakes - I disconnected).

The boat shows extremely well for its age and runs hard.

Cruises easily 35mph @3500 RPM , Top End on light load 62 MPH.

I have taken the boat to the Bahamas multiple times to the Berry Islands, Cat Cay, Bimini Etc. The boat is extremely reliable and raises fish. Handles chop like a much much bigger boat.

I have a big binder that I will include that I have all handbooks for items purchased, receipts for items purchased and service handbook for the engines.

Located in Miami

Thanks Mike

I’ll get some better ones for you. I remember on the way over with a super heavy load to the Bahamas I averaged around 34 mph @ 3400 rpm burning 17.8gph.

Yea sir! I bought it from him.

Look up his build on it when he had it to get some more history on the boat.

Mike you are going to regret selling this boat just like I did!

Couple of fun facts for those wondering: This is nearly identical hull bottom to the 25 Contender, rides just as good if not better (it's built like a little tank so no shaking/rattling). Feels like a 30ft but handles like a damn sports car.

Those 200HPDI's were babied by me and I know new owner has taken just as good if not better care of the boat since the sale. The ONLY reason I sold was to get into my current boat which has been my dream forever.

Do not sell, you will not be able to replace it for double what you are selling it for. I bought my first boat when my first kid was 18 months old. Just rolled 400 hrs on my 2000 hpdi's this afternoon

Yea I know I’m for sure going to regret it. My HPDI’s are clean as a whistle and the boat runs hard. I just can stand to see it sit on the side of the house not being used. We live on a lake system so on the meantime will be heading out there.
