Default *NO LONGER FOR SALE* Prowler 31 Cat with Trolling Motor and new T-Top

UPDATE MARCH 21 - My situation has changed and this boat is no longer for sale.

Year Built: November 2015

For all the basic information (storage, etc) on this boat see the Prowler website at: https://www.renaissanceprowler.com/prowler-31

Note: the color of this boat is the same as the one pictured on the Prowler site

Specifications:

Documentation: Coast Guard Documented Vessel

Motors: Twin Yamaha 300ís, 560 hours. In warranty until Sept 1st, 2021. 100-hour service just done, ready for the start of the season

Outriggers: yes

Autopilot: yes

Trailer: yes, float-on, new tires July 2018, trailer is a 2014

Electronics: Twin Garmin 7612ís, Fusion radio, JL Audio speakers, 2 subs, 10 speakers (4 in new t-top), Twin VHF radios Standard Horizon, 3 AMPs, Garmin xHD radar, XM weather

Special Features: Last September the boat had a brand new factory installed T-Top. This includes all new aluminum, rod holders, lumitec lights, speakers that mount into the T-Top, etc. While at the factory a new Rhodan 48Ē trolling motor was mounted on the back deck and 3 batteries added to the console along with a trollbridge 36 (I can explain if you arenít familar). Bill also fixed any ding dings on the hull. She looks practically new again. NOTE: I don't have a lot of pics of the new t-top but plan on taking a walk through video this weekend.

Iíve created an album of pictures you can view here.

Youtube videos:

Price: $250k, will also consider cash or trade

If you are familiar with these boats, you know these donít come along very often that are a few years old, and you know how long it takes to get one built. I would absolutely not be selling it if I had to but family comes first. So, save some money and take advantage of this turn key boat that just needs fuel and bait to come to life.

Serious inquiries only please and absolutely no brokers.

Lots of questions coming in via text wanting to see more of the new t-top and why it was put on and all of that. I will try to answer them here instead of repeating myself.

Q: Do I have more pics or video of the boat since the new top was put on?
A: Not yet. I will be getting pictures and videos of the boat and t-top this weekend after I rinse the pollen off.

Q: Why did you put a new t-top on it?
A: Short short answer. My fish camp partner was launching the boat 4th of July weekend and hit one of the very very large live oak trees inside of the marina. We have to drive through two of them to get to the boat ramp. The T-Top was absolutely totaled. It was twisted, bent, and just unrepairable. The upside is that where it was attached to the hull, zero damage. None. Prowler reinforces everything at those touch points so the only thing that moved was the metal. The other upside is we still fished that holiday weekend and the top felt just as sturdy as ever. But it looked like a tornado had hit it.

Q: What did it cost to put a new t-top on it?
A: All total, right at $25k was spent on the new top, re-rigging, new components, speakers that go in the top, a new amp to drive the new speakers, new led lights, spreader lights (all lumitec), 3 new batteries, trolling motor, rigging of trolling motor, customization of the rear platform to move exiting ladder over and put trolling motor so it looked "balanced" from the back. Needless to say, a tremendous amount of work was done.

I’m an idiot! I had the year on this boat listed originally as a 2014. That’s wrong it is a 2015! I had just renewed the trailer tag and it is a 2014. The motors have a 6 year warranty so they are good until Sept 2021. Anyway sorry about that. The boat is a 2015.

Keith,
Great looking boat and very tempting. Do you happen to know the total length of the trailer without the boat?
thank you,
dc

You are in luck! I am at the boat right now. The trailer by itself is 36ft. The total length of rig sitting on the trailer is 41ft. If you need anything else give me. a call while I am here. I also just added two new pics to the album link above so you can see the back of the boat and how trolling motor is mounted.

Hoping this update answers more questions I've been getting.

I just added 43 new pictures and one video to the photo album here:

https://photos.app.goo.gl/ekQyqimQiQD9HDLg6

These new pictures should give you a great idea to how well this boat is maintained, how clean it is, and how new it looks.

Someone wanted to see how big the fish boxes were. I put a 5-gallon bucket in the port fish box and took some shots of it.

Another wanted to see more shots of inside the console. I left my luggable-loo 5-gallon bucket inside the console to show you just how much room there is inside of it. You can sit on the bucket and easily work on the electronics as you'll see when I raise the lid to the back of the electronics toward the end. The batteries you see inside the console are for the trolling motor. The house batteries and cranking batteries are under the helm as pictured.

Edit: someone asked where I store lifevests. Find the pictures with shots of the gunnels and you'll see life vests under the gunnels.
Thank you.

The boat is no longer for sale. I want to thank everyone for their interest, questions, etc. I am planning on leaving this thread in case it helps anyone looking in the future unless the mods want to remove it.
