Default 23' Sea Ox Custom Pilothouse PRICE REDUCED $29,500

Sea Ox finished at glass shop headed to get rigged, powered and windows installed

glassed stringers into the boat

encasing the stringers in FG before glassing into the boat

flip up seat

deep swivel holders with backing plates thru bolted

removable Kodiak live well tank and plumbing

custom leaning post with flip-up fillet board and 4 draw tackle tray

LED spreader lights

Rule 1100 GPH transom live well pickup (flows while your running - no need to turn on)

12 degree tilted element thru hull transducer

several gunwale rod holders for drifting and keeping baits spread apart

spreader light and windshield wiper

custom Titan dual side zip cover

4-rod holders on either side of the pilothouse

Ready for spring 2019 season! Original 1981 230c Sea Ox Hull. The Boat was professionally gutted in 2008 by glass shop on Cape Cod. New Stringers and transom encased in fiberglass before glassed back into the hull (Have pics of rebuild process to prove it!). New solid ONE LEVEL watertight deck (no steps) and antislip paint gives you 360-degree fishability. New aluminum fuel tank, hoses, and fittings. New oversized custom FG molded pilothouse with fully gasket tempered glass windows. new DF150 Suzuki installed and rigged by Ryders Cove in Chatham in 2008 which currently has 896 hrs. The engine was flushed after every trip and had oil, plugs, lower end fluid, t-stats, anodes, and fuel filters changed every 100 hrs religiously. Always used genuine Suzuki parts. The trailer is a 2008 alum venture bunk with upgraded ss disc brakes on 1 axle. Simrad NSS8 with 4G radar (new dome in 2017) upgraded from 3g. B60 tilted element thru hull transducer. Added Sea Star hydraulic Steering new (2018). Fusion radio, removable Kodiak pro flow live well 22 gal, J&L swivel holders, taco gunwale mount outrigger bases, VHF, custom leaning post with flip up/down fillet board and seat. Hull and gunwales were sanded, primed and painted with 3 coats of Interlux Perfection winter 2018. This boat was NEVER fished commercially and was always trailered to fish weekends with my family. Has sat under cover in my yard during fishing season and inside my heated shop during winter. we have done everything from cod and tuna to inshore fluke and bass on the shallows. I don't have a fuel burn meter. She has a 55 gal tank and will usually burn 22-25 gal for days worth of fishing from Plymouth across to P-Town and PHB and back not shutting the engine down all day (roughly 55 ish miles). She drift fishes slow, creeps into skinny water with ease and can be launched and retrieved by yourself no problem. Please bear with me I have been enjoying THT for many years as a reader. This is my first attempt posting! sorry for the jumbled pics, trying to show the timeline of build/restore process! The Sea Ox is Located in Marlborough MA

much appreciated Hooper! many, many hours of love poured into her and in return she gave us countless memories on the water. I know she's no regulator or yellowfin and her style isn't for everyone but she always kept us dry!!

PRICE REDUCED..... $30,000....not interested in trades for other boats, cars, fifth wheels, etc... Looking to free up space in my yard, have one less boat to maintain, keep the wife somewhat happy and make someone very happy with a no drama, well cared for rig...

What is your top speed with that 150 Suzuki?
What kind and size tank is in it? Was it replaced during refit?

How many guys can fit inside the pilot house to stay out of the weather when running out or in? I assume the boat is not in the water for a sea trial?

Thanks - Jack

Jack the pilothouse is big. It's meant for a 26' boat. We can usually tuck one guy on each side of the driver sort of like a triangle. I do have some gull wings that help also. Boat is on a trailer at my house but can easily be launched for a sea trial for serious buyers with a deposit
