Default stamas 250 tarpon

1999 Stamas 250 Tarpon This is a 1999 Stamas 250 tarpon.. they are still making this hull today but its now call 26.7. I have totally redone this boat. It has two yamaha 225's on it. The port side has just over 350 hrs on it and the starboard has a new power head on it with a year warrantee on it. I decided to put new feul tanks in it along with totally redoing the inside and outside of the boat. As for electronics it has a raymarine E80 and I am installing a garmin 94sv in it. There is also an icom radio and radio in this boat. Also the boat has complete new canvas with wings. Boat looks and rides great. The trailer that it sits on is a loadmaster and it's on a year old and has warrantee on it up to 4 years left. The boat was originally rated for 400 horse power but that is before four strokes came out now its rated for 450. Has two large live wells in it. Gets incredible fuel range. You have plenty of range to do anything with it. I am selling it do to want to go bigger. The price is $50,000.00 obo. You can email me at [email protected] or call at 8433212277 only serious inquiries only don't waste my time.

I will go by tomorrow if it doesn't rain and get some inside pictures, It is over getting my yearly service on the lower units and having the new powerhead put on at the same time. The boat is 1999 and the 225 four strokes are 2002 like I said the port has around 350 hours and the starboard on is having a new powerhead put on with warrantee.

I can vouch for this as a beautiful and meticulously cared for boat, have fished on it many times. Rides like a dream and runs like a hot rod!!! She'll make her new owners happy, GLWS.

Great boat GLWS - I have a 1984 Stamas and they are built to last.

Regarding the motors many people have gone from 200hp 2-strokes to F225's. It's really common on World Cats and I have made the switch on mine. Engine weight and power are very similar - you just get better fuel consumption and much quieter.

Beautiful boat from what the two pics show. do you have more pictures? Have the motors been scoped for dry exhaust corrosion issue?
Performance/fuel burn numbers?
Wood core boat?

the motors have been totally redone on the exhaust. I decided to do it just in case. I do not have any pics on me but picking it up tomorrow hopefully. I carry 162 gallons of fuel full and to give you an idea of what it does I went one way 72miles and when I got there I high speed trolled for 5-6 hours and then came back in. when I got to the dock still had a quarter tank left. so that shows it does very well on fuel burn. High troll you get terrible fuel economy normally. the stringers are wood only.

the leaning post cushion is being replaced. I forgot to do it when I did the rest of the upholstery.
