If I had the money I'd pick that thing up and fix it would be well worth it at the end of the day

Did you finally get it surveyed or get a third party go through the boat for other potential problems?

I just think questions like that are what a PM is for if you are a potential buyer

Post edited.

A real estimate to fix would go a long way with a perspective buyer.

Good luck with sale.

Seller already had an earful of recommendations on last thread. I hope someone here can one day flip this boat to like-new condition and post the result.

point taken, I retract it, all I meant was anyone buying this boat would do there own survey and offer from there,

if your/your buddy is a potential buyer, get the survey done yourselves. That's what youd do anyway buying a used boat right?

If the OP doesn't want to pour money into it, let it be.

Seems like there can be more involved. It would be nice to know this before spending on another survey or getting it rediagnosed.
There is no more involved if somebody is interested in the boat I will pay for the survey.

Personally, I think we should allow the OP the chance to sell his boat without a lot of sidebar.

Let's try to keep this on track.
