Default SOLD //// 2000 Carolina Classic 28 w/tower & twin Volvo 8.1 $27.9k New Bedford MA

2000 Carolina Classic 28 w/tower & twin Volvo 8.1 $27.9k New Bedford MA

Ultimate pocket battle wagon. Great ride blasting thru head-seas. CC28s are one of the most capable and highest quality boats this size. Solid as a tank. Very clean. Well equipped. Repowered in 2008. Rebuilt jackshafts & drives in 2014. New risers & exhaust in 2016. Selling because my crew mutinied on me (kids prefer the boat beach to chasing tuna).

Significantly discounted asking price due to engine discrepancy. Port engine not reaching max rpm. One cylinder not firing due to oil/fluid intrusion. Replaced several rocker arms & lifters which helped but did not completely resolve the issue. Compression is solid 170-175psi across all cylinders. Boat is priced accordingly for someone to take on and set up for next spring.

Default Great Boat

Early on in the process of looking... so a bit ahead of schedule. When was last service on engines?

Default gorgeous

Wow Jason - this is a beautiful rig, I can't believe it's still on here... If I wasn't <1 year into my current ride I'd be driving to MA with an envelope of cash.

Somebody is going to get a lot of boat for $28k! Bumping you back TTT, this thing deserves a lot of looks.

I fish on one of these regularly. Great boat, if I go back to an express some day CC is going to be pretty high on the list.

Looks like a nice clean boat, surprised it is not under contract yet.

I don't get it. Someone can throw in a rebuilt motor and have a nice offshore rig for way less than $50k! Glwys man. You'll find the right buyer eventually....

Not to seem blasphemous, but just thought the factory new model looked interesting with a pair of big Yamys hung on stern
