Default 2006 31ft. Cape Horn for sale

Long story short first. Boat was originally sold in Miami where it was stolen and stripped to the hull. Boat was then purchased and sent to Cape Horn for refurbishing and re-powered with 300 Suzuki's. I purchased the boat in 2013. I had it for a year before a freak accident. Running in a chop at @3900 rpm, a pair of binoculars fell out of the radio box and onto the port fly-by-wire throttle. That was the end of the port engine. There are less then 175hrs on the new port engine and @780 on the starboard. I've installed Lenco heavy duty trim tabs with a lighted switch. All electronics are Raymarine and routed onto a C-120. All the 2000+ waypoints go with the boat. The 500-600ft of rope, chain and anchor go with the boat. Two live wells, one on the leaning post the other on the rear gunnel. Two sets of s/s props go with the boat. Dual axle aluminum trailer with new front axle with electric brakes. Oh yea, all Coast Guard safety equipment go with the boat. Forgot to mention full custom boat cover. Asking $80,000.00. Price is negoshible with limits. My current medical condition makes it difficult to work on her.
Will post pics as soon as I figure out how. Please ask any question and I will do my best to answer them

I have seen the pictures on facebook on the Capehorn group. This is a nice boat for sure and kudos to you for being upfront on the history. It's about a month or 2 too soon for me otherwise I would be coming to Pensacola to come check her out.

Ps for all who did not catch it boat is in Pensacola

Best way I've found is use the computer. Not a phone. Or put some up on the Facebook group.

I'm confused, so the motors are what year? One is a 2013? The other was murdered by binoculars so it's newer? Binoculars hitting the binnacle caused a motor to permanently stop working? Just curious

Binoculars hit the port shifter and slammed it in reverse while underway.

Scott626 the new motor is 2015. The throttle went from 3900rpms forward to full reverse. It destroyed all the interior aluminum parts.

This sounds like Makos old boat.....if that's the case, I always loved this boat! Wish it was closer in reach, I'd love to have one.

Wanna thank the guys who offered to post some pics. They're coming.
In case I forgot to mention, new front axle with electric brakes on the trailer. It comes with the boat. Trailer is heavy duty with truck like tires on dual axle.

When the pictures come up, if you look at the console, right under the trim tab switch is a small black box. It's the brain for the fly-by-wire. It allows you to start/shut down each engine, control trim and synchronize

The price on the boat is a starting point for negotiations. I appreciate the offers, I've come down from the asking price, as my visitors can validate, but $15,000.00 off of the price is out of the question. I am willing to negotiate but please don't waste our time if you're not serious about buying a boat. Please note that I have medical issues that affect me mentally. Thank you for loaning me your ear. Be safe.
