Condition/Notes:
- outboard and electronics have been professionally maintained by Ed Miller at Hi-Tech Marine in Essex MD… the best Yamaha shop in the Baltimore area. Ed is willing to speak with any prospective buyer. All scheduled services performed. No issues other than a trim motor failure (was replaced).
- Boat is in 100% functional condition… is used regularly year round. There are some small cosmetic issues typical of a 10 year old boat listed below:
- Made about a dozen gelcoat repairs in 2016 to fix several scratches/voids… these were all small (less than an inch, though the repairs are larger after grinding/fairing/sanding). Done with marine-tex and I would say a 95% color match… not noticeable unless you are looking.
- under-gunwale LED lights work but controller does not (can only be turned on/off, and only in green)
- seacock is frozen closed (needs to be replaced to use livewell or raw washdown… both of those pumps do work)
- fresh water washdown has never worked (pump dead when I bought it, never replaced)

For anyone looking for a used Ultra, I would argue this is a great option. You get more boat then the Ultra, as well as recessed tabs vs the annoying ultra short tabs that jam up the ladder.

Thanks. It's only a few inches longer than the 232 ultra, but I agree it's more boat... I believe 700 pounds heavier (signals a beefier layup, contributes to better ride)... plus recessed tabs, larger cockpit (on account of the folding bench). The edge or ultra is the boat I'd get if you're primary use is family/cruising and you go fishing sometimes, this is the boat I'd get if your primary use is fishing but you want the wife/kids comfortable when they come out. Plus you'll find a lot of ultras powered with the v4 150 or 200hp options... whereas the 240 comes standard with the v6 250 and you'll like having that extra torque and you're motor working easier at any given speed.

I bought this boat after owning a 22 sea hunt (2007 to 2011). This boat felt like way more than an upgrade than the 232 triton (and I did not like their cockpit jump seating around a center livewell)... and like you said the recessed tabs are great.

Nice boat you have! I was close to pulling the trigger on a 240 Triton when I was in the market, but stumbled across my 260 for a killer deal I couldn't pass up. Good luck.

I've fished with Josh on this boat before. He takes good care of the boat and does a detailed cleaning and motor flush after every trip. I see it happen when I go fishing with him. If I had the funds, I'd have no hesitation about buying this boat.

GLWS, Josh.

Boat is still for sale. I've rejected a couple low ball cash offers and have a couple solid prospects working through financing or torn between this boat and another one, but I have not shaken hands with anyone yet. Don't hesitate to reach out (contact info in the ad). I'm open to reasonable offers, but I can tell you I'm not afraid to let the boat stay listed through boat show season.

I'm open to a partial trade for a used 2500/3500 diesel pickup as well.

Man, that is one CLEAN looking boat. Agree with the OP, the Ultra series kills the fishing cockpit room with the full bench that can't be moved - this looks like a great fishing set up. Good luck with the sale!

Another great feature of these is the console / helm. They don't have that Sea Hunt dash.

Thanks for the compliments. What looked like a deal fell through this weekend when a buyer got lured away to a brand new boat by a dealer. Still for sale... make me an offer.

Im shocked this is still for sale. Time of year doesnt help, but it won't be much longer.

Great rig for someone wanting to move up from a 20' boat.
