20-25k really depends what it is I'm a little flexible. Which I know doesn't get me much. I'm looking for 95-2000 hulls with 2 strokes/high hour 4 strokes. Single or twins.

Great choice. I have owned one for 9 years. I have a 1998 hull, 2003 Yamaha F225 on it. Dialed it in perfect with a Mercury Enertia Prop which brought motor up to 6000 rpm vs Yamaha Prop that only yielded 5400. I have seen 40 mph light with this setup.
I am a two boat owner but can't seem to part with this one. Regardless pm me your contact info in the event I decide to put it up for sale. Seems like they are very rare on the used market.

Be patient
A few years back we looked hard for a 23 classic
Majority of boats were in good condition, some were driven hard and put away wet...
I found a 02 with less than 400 hrs on orig power
I repowered within a year, did some updates and bought a new trailer
We could not be happier, beautiful ride at the fraction of a newer model
I may have paid a bit high, but because of her low hr use it was worth it.
Good luck and be patient

My friends always remark as to how much room it has for a 23' boat. The open bow on the Classic really makes a big difference than the forward seating models for that size boat.

Yes the classic is the only model I'd consider. All the 23's I've been able to check out are 05 and up FS's which don't interest me nor can I afford so I'd reAlly like to find one local to Maryland that I could look at and crawl around just to get an idea of the set up and room available. It's to hard to judge based of pics. If anyone local to me has one and wants to let me check it out ill bring ya a 6 pack!! Lol

There's one in jersey that's listed on here but he wants 24k for it with a blow engine and its carbed motors, so it needs a complete repower

I have an '03 Classic you could come look at, on the eastern shore.
NOTE: It's NOT for sale

Not sure if you've seen this one yet. No affiliation just came across it and thought I'd pass it on
