ProKats do not have a good reputation because there were some "bad years".

Of course, 2001 was a "good year"

Seriously, this is a good boat, with good engines and a MagicTilt trailer.

It is tough to sell a boat that is over ten years old, in butt-f*ck Texas, far from the madding crowd.

I just decided to bypass the brokers and wholesalers (who don't want to sell it anyway).

A great buy for someone who wants a good offshore boat with all the comforts that can be hauled.

A Rav4, under no circumstance, will haul this boat.

You need to be in the big league--Super Duty, Suburban, etc.

What you save on slip fees you can put towards diesel

Hullk

You're new here so it's okay if you don't understand that the RAV4 is THE tow vehicle of choice and will haul anything short of an aircraft carrier.

So that's how they hauled the Oriskiny to Pensacola. I always wondered about that.

Default Pro Cat towing

a chevy 5.3 Silvarado 1500 will pull that rig at 55mph and stop it if the trailer brakes work..
but a 4x4 low range is a must have for launch recovery ........mine does fine with our 7,500lb Grady-White on a 1,700lb trailer....
