Default Don't let the asking price scare you, Bring on the Offers

I'm torn, that is why the asking price is so high, lol, but if someone offers me cash money I'll let her go, if not I'm gonna set the tent up and start working on it and raising the price accordingly, so get her while she's short money. Just got off the phone with the previous owner and he has located the title, this is a slam dunk opportunity for someone who wants a bad a$$ project that is worth every bit of time and money. I love mine to death, I'll take any potential buyer for a ride on mine and you'll be a believer.

Check out my build thread in my signature, there are all kinds of pics in there. If I do keep it it will most likely have a doghouse like the one on my other one.

Another option is to build this one for someone just the way they want it. I could have it ready for next summer, I don't have to do stringers, transom or decks.

Could you post some pics of the interior of the boat?
What kind of collision caused the damage?

Not to hijack the thread but maybe the convo will gen up some more interest. If you begin with another rebuild what are your plans with this one? Another pilothouse? I really like your power option on your last build and you've got me torn now between twin 175-200s or a 300G2.

I'll work on the pics of the interior. Its a full blown nor'easter today. The boat was run down in the fog. She was sitting still and got broadsided. I will only be restoring this one if I can get the engine to run. There is no way I can afford a new power plant. The g2 would be sick. You'd be the only one around that's for sure I was thinking doghouse because so many people have complimented me on mine and it would make getting it sold easier but I was also thinking just a bare console. Simple. A lot depends on if I can make her run

Default Interior Pics

I should have done a better job covering it up with all that wind we had, the water and pine needles and leaves were just from over night, the boat was remarkably clean for her age before last night. Also a close up pic of the damage to the hull. Huge Livewell, lots of in deck storage, notice how clean the engine is.

I started taking the engine apart today and will hopefully get the engine out tomorrow, I meant to mention in the ad that I am willing to trade for something else cool like a seacraft or a bertram, sea vee, etc

It's a 1999 and I'm not sure about the hours, I was told very few, it went underwater and was pickled, I took the exhaust off today and need to get a more powerful impact gun to get the rear engine mounts off, hopefully tomorrow the engine will be out of the boat and I can start to figure out if it is salvageable, it looks real good from the top.

Got the motor out of the boat today. Going tuna fishing tomorrow on my finished 233 but will get some pics up when I get the motor on the stand. Boat motor and trailer will come with the engine on the stand. More and more of the hard work is being done. Pulled the plugs on the engine, turns by hand. Got the bell housing flywheel and all the accessories off. This is starting to look more like a build thread lol

Needs an oil pan alternator starter fuel pump etc etc but internals are good. Gonna clean her up. Maybe some paint motor mounts. Before long it will look like my pride and joy and the price will reflect that.

I have no time for a project, but I am interested in the details of the other boats in your pictures. I am thinking of adding a pilothouse to my ALBEMARLE and your other boat looks great. Is it also a formula

I hope your boat sells soon but I'd also like to get your take on the difference in ride of the inboard vs outboard etec. These hulls have great lines, some say the nose is ugly but I think she's gorgeous. Awaiting the change of the title of this thread to "new 233 project"
