Default 2003 2680 Glacier Bay Fish Rigged!

I've owned this boat since 2007 and it's served me very well. It will be a sad day when she goes but my needs have changed and I'm moving bigger. The boat came to me in 2007 in above average shape and had only been used as a picnic boat. Since then I have added 7 swivel rod holders and Taco out rigger mounts with 22' carbon fiber riggers. It also has a center rigger way up high. It originally had 150hpdi engines that I replaced with a set of 2005 F150 four strokes. In 2010 I replaced all the cushions and cockpit bolsters and also re-decaled the hull to keep it fresh. 2011 I added the sweet folding tower with a Garmin up top and full controls ($23,000). I also added a Garmin 4208 downstairs and an autopilot. Over the course of my ownership I think I have replaced every pump on the boat, both wiper motors (one went and I did them both) and the windlass.

6 of the past 7 winters she has lived indoors in a climate controlled warehouse. This winter she was waxed then shrink wrapped. The shrink wrap was removed and I just waxed her again.

The bottom has been painted and she is waxed. The oils are all fresh and she is chock full of fuel. All she needs to be ready for the season is fresh plugs and fuel filters. They got water pumps and vst filters last year. About 750 hours on the engines.

She sits on a 2006 float on trailer that has newer tires and bearings. I don't think the brakes on it work.

I bet I've spent the asking price on upgrades over the past four years.

Only $49,900

Default cruising speed

What kind of speed are you getting with the 150s?

Jay, I can't believe you are selling her! I miss my 2680 terribly! I don't think I can be a double cat household though without a divorce. Of course, the 2680 does have a cabin to sleep in...

Thanks guys. I'm going to miss the boat quite a bit. Even my Wife said we should keep it just this morning but I know i won't run a full tank of fuel through her this year with the new boat and she needs to be used and enjoyed.

I lost a knot of top end with the tower but cruise her 25-26kts and she tops out 32-33 kts. I've seen 35kts with a push from the tide light. I only run wide open a small handful of times a season though and never longer than just see her max out.

That wall of water was two June's ago when my only day off happened to be on a northeast gale. We went anyway and didn't catch. Seas were 7-10 and spreader bars were flying like kites. She's quite a sea worthy vessel. (not that it was comfortable)

Hoop, That was last September, just he and I on the boat and he cranked it in by himself. It took forever to land that little fish but what a proud kid!

On another note. DEPOSIT TAKEN :-) :-( :-) Mixed feelings but it's the right move
