On my 29 Reg F250s

1.5 mpg is the best I've seen, this is on flat water and ~150 gal of fuel cruising 31-33 knots.

Real world #s loaded for offshore fishing, 285 gal fuel, 4 adults, 350#s of ice, 12 offshore rods, raft, and the rest of the gear.
31-32 knot cruise
<3 ft seas 1.3 mpg
4+ ft headsea 21-22 knots 1.1-1.0 mpg.

Ran in with 3 Big Eyes & ice ... close to 900 pounds in the front fish box at 33 knots and it was flat seas that rare day and still got 1.3mpg.

29 Reg with F250s will top out at 50-51mph with either 21" 3 blade Yam SS or 19" Rev4s (currently on my 29.

Having had the 26, 29, & 32 ft models my favorite is the 29....my 32 had the 300 HPDI's though so that caused some issues but since I (used to) fish alone a or with 1 or 2 others at most the 29 was perfect.

Nice boat GLWS.

what size reg4s would you suggest starting with 19s or 21s on a 08 -26 reg w/f250s . I carry 4-5 fatsos ,3/4 fuel ,rods and tackle,2-30packs and mostly fish 20 to 40 miles off

That's just about dead on the numbers with what I see with this 29. Obviously, the fuel load is the big ticket item - don't usually run with a full 285 gallons if fishing close in 33kts, 1.5mpg, in <3ft. This boat has three blade props.

I get 5900 rpm spinning19 Rev4 on my 29. Would think he would be way into the rev limiter with 19s on a 26

I am pretty sure it is still for sale, he just probably forgot to bump his ad again. Five years ago.....
