Default 2003 Cape Horn 25' / Twin Mercury 150's

2003 Cape Horn 25’ with twin counter rotating Mercury saltwater 150’s (Carb) for sale. I am the second owner of this boat and it is in excellent condition with less than 250 hours on the motors. I typically cruise around 27-33 and depending on fuel load/gear it tops out around 45-47. The boat is typically burning 1.5 MPG when running out loaded to fish with 4-5ppl.

Equipment:
• 218 Gallon Fuel Tank
• Stainless steel props
• Furuno Bottom Machine (FCV582L)
• Furuno GPS (GP32)
• Garmin 740 touchscreen chart plotter
o GMR18HD Radar
o Duel GFS10 Fuel Sensors
• Standard Horizon Fixed VHF (DSC, connected to Garmin)
• Standard Horizon Handheld VHF (Backup/Emergency with built in GPS)
• Epirb (ACR)
• Fresh water washdown
• Raw water washdown
• 6 Type II offshore life jackets, anchor and miscellaneous equipment included
• Large dual ram trim tabs
• Steelco Galvanized trailer
o Brand new trailer tires still under warranty
o 3 New galvanized hubs and one re-packed hub

The Cape Horn at 25’ feels like a much larger boat and handles the rough water very well; I have come back sore but never scared. There are a few things that I had planned on doing over the winter and I will list them here just to be as transparent as possible.

• Trailer needs new leaf spring packs this year or maybe next
• Bunk boards need carpet replaced at some time in the near future

I had the port carbs rebuilt recently and at that same time the under cowl fuel filters and both fuel pumps were rebuilt. The water pumps have less than a year on them and the gear lube was changed at the same time (I will throw in enough for about two more lube changes).

I am building a new home and need to sell at this time. Price lowered to 23,500, all three titles in hand and registration good through 2014. Boat has never been stored in or near salt water.

Is this model known now as the 23, 26, or 23T? I've been on the newer ones so trying to get an idea of cockpit size and spac.

thanx,
