Thanks for the offer. I am unable to tow a 290 so need to stay with a 270.

I would consider buying a 270 coastal with 2strokes, and repowering it. For the right boat at the right price.

Had one. An '03 with HPDI 200s. It's a pretty good, fast boat, although it's a bit of a hard ride. I had the 5kw Onan and had nothing but problems with the generator. You can't service it correctly because of space constraints. I would buy the boat without the genset and install a smaller updated genset, preferably diesel, or skip the genset entirely. Any way you go, get tattletail shutdowns and a remote panel or you will melt the genset. Been there, done that.

I have a sister boat, a 2005 Aquasport 275 Explorer. Twin Yamaha 225 4 strokes, 500 hours. Comes with a 2011 Trailer, has the heat/ a/c, but no generator. Boat is located in Washington state.

thanks,
Dennis
