Started to detail the boat yesterday. Completed compounding & put one coat of Collinite "FleetWax" on her. She'll be going into Enos Marine for Spring engine maintenence & new bottom paint on Monday. Then when she returns to our driveway, I'll spend a couple more days on her.

BTW...The batteries are 2 years old now & kept on a float charge in my basement for the Winter months. This boat has been kept beyond excellent condition. I would like to see another 2004 Eastern 24' Cuddy in the condition ours is in. Everytime I see a Eastern around our age, their rust on some of the stainless steel, fibgerglass hazing, canvas is dirty & faded etc. This Eastern will not disappoint!

Thanks Scott! I appreciate the kind words. I'll be posting more pictures of the inside of the boat when she is completely detailed. As I mentioned, trying to get the outside of the boat finished 1st.

As for numbers, WOT she'll peak @ just above 30 knots with 3 people on boat. As for fuel comsumption, I am not exactly sure, just that the Honda BF150 sips fuel. But then again, I never cruise past 18 knots myself.

Scott: Not much @ all. All my fishing is for Stripers & Blues inshore. BTW....MS=MA. (Mass)

I'll be posting more pics on Sunday or Monday once the cuddy & pilothouse is cleaned-up.

I also wanted to mention that I have 2 each (1-Capitan & 1-Mate) Garelick Poly foot rests here:

http://www.garelick.com/productsearc...115&subid=AB08

These weren't cheap (cost me like $130.00+ a piece for them) I threw out the Garelick wooden version as they simply wouldn't hold-up over time.

In addition....I'm throwing-in 200' New England Rope (the best rope period IMHO) anchor line w/ the anchor. Also I have an extra set of Roca wiper blades & a new Garmin 2006C GPS cover & a Garmin transformer (SKU# 362-00019-2) The Garmin transformer will enable you to bring back the 2006C chartplotter & chart a course @ home on your computer & do any firmware updates.

Guys: Enos Marine just dropped-off our Eastern 24' in our driveway this morning. Here is a few things I had done to her:

1: Bottom Paint (Entire Boat, not just the sides)
2: Had both stern boxes re-chalked. I was getting just a small amount of water in one of the boxes. So...I decided to have both redone.
3: Complete Honda BF150 Spring Set-Up (Fuel Filters, Plugs, Anodes)
4: New Recondintioned Prop (Rubber Hub/Spline replacement)
5: Trailer Hub-Discs (both) were replaced.

Total cost to me $1112.29

She is running like a top! She is in complete turn-key operation! Please PM if you need more pics!

Great boat and very desirable! Certainly will not last with the right exposure.

So is $29,000 the current asking price or was that the original hull price back in 2004?

$50,788.93 without the trailer or the electronics or the install. Yes...I would like to get that because I notice other 2004 Eastern 24' that don't have half as much I & are in much worse shape. I'm cleaning the inside hull & installing my vinyl in the cuddy & the seats this morning. Hope to have more pics up soon, but the size constraints are horrible on THT.

I also wanted to mention that I'll be sanding down the wooden grab rails & applying Cetol Marine Light finish on her. I'll get to that next week (weather permiting) I would sugguest doing this every two years to ensure they hold-up well & don't look shabby.

Ok....My wife figured out how to downsize the resolution. Here are a few more pics. I'll post more tomorrow. Working on the vinyl seats & canvas next.

Scott: Many thanks! No worries. As I posted before, my wife figured out how to get the pics below 1.91MB (most allowed by THT) Doing more work on her tomorrow...So I'll post more pics then.

I cannot give you "exact" mileage from her because I don't have a NEMA cable hooked-up up to my GPS/Chartplotter. I can say...She sips fuel like nobody's business! Granted...I never take her over 18-20 knots, so I don't push-it, but fuel is never an issue on our Eastern 24'

She is a semi-displacement hull (soft chine) So...With that being said...She is outstanding in the rough chop! Just that she has some "roll" too her. You get use to her in the snotty weather. She doesn't "track" great in bad weather, but....she doesn't "slam" @ all! A true Downeast soft chine hull.
