Default 1987 Fountain 31 Twin Optimax 225 to Trade Down

Wanting to trade
1987 Fountain 31
Twin Optimax 225 (2003 and 2001)
Heavy Duty Loadmaster Triple Axle Aluminum Trailer (18000#GVR)

As stated before, the hull in a 1987 model. I believe this is the first year of the center console model. The only difference that I can see is the transom. The motors are mounted on an armstrong bracket from the factory instead of directly on the transom. Look at Camo 4x4's 2011 model on this website, the hulls have not changed much. This boat looks much newer than an '87. The upper hull was redone before I purchased the boat. That being said, it is still a 1987 model, so it, of course, is not perfect. The outer gel coat still shines. It is still a head turner.
Center console with forward cabin.
Newer leaning post with rod holders
T top with rod holders
Huge insulated fish box under console with overboard drains.
For some reason, the live well was removed before I purchased the boat as well as the trim tabs. The trim tab pumps are present.
2 bilge pumps
2003 Optimax 225 with less than 700 hrs.
2001 Optiimax 225. New heads ($1100)
Smart craft digital gauges. One works, one says "data bus error"
Not counter rotating
Stainless Steel props
New Racor filters
Heavy Duty Loadmaster Aluminator 32-34
Extra long tongue keeps your truck dry
Triple Axle
Aluminum Rims
Disc brakes on 4 of the 6 wheels
Upgraded stainless steel bolts/u-bolts.
I would like to keep the electronics for the next one.

It is not perfect, but could be if someone has the time and a little money. Price out a new boat in this size! I have upgraded the trailer, replaced a trim motor, new heads on the 01'. Wife says "No more money!"It has turned out to be much more boat than I need.I find myself boating with the family much more often than offshore, although I would still like the capability of doing so. Ideally, I would like to trade down to a 24 Cape Horn or a Cat. I like the idea a having twins, but What cha got???
I'm live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast

what do you lose by not having counter rotating engines? what would it take to buy it outright?

To be honest, this is my first set of twins. There is a thread on here that discusses that very issue. Some say that handling improves with counter rotation while docking, but at speed there is no difference. I would like to get somwhere around $20,000. Thanks for looking.

Default Time to move it

Ok, so I bought an Adventure Craft for the family to play on. I still want to get offshore sometimes, but not as often. Banks don't want to loan on a boat older than 10 years old. Looking to trade down. Would like a 23-25 ft. Would love a Cat. What ya got??

Added decals "Life is Good" down the side, as well as matching decals on the motor. Still fighting the trim motor. Replaced it with an aftermarket motor, lasted about 5 trips. Now it works sometimes

I may be interested. Called you earlier. Here are some pictures of mine. 25ft LOA, powered by an 08 Evinrude E-Tec with ~170 hours, new water pump, lower unit seals and oil. New VHF radio and 8ft Shakespeare antenna , AM/FM/IPOD/CD radio, Speakers, LED RGB under gunnel lighting, dual purpose batteries (2), and soon to be new upholstery.
