Somebody buy this boat before I do and get into trouble with my wife. I'd been looking for a 16'-19' Workskiff for a while, and just bought a Cape Horn 17', my second choice (bigger and heavier, and suitable for Stellwagen, but not so good for inshore as the Workskiff 16).

The Workskiff 16 is, hands down, the best shallow-water drift striper platform. I've been fishing my friend's Privateer 16 bay boat, but the Workskiff will shrug off the rocks without a trace, while the Privateer is a modest diary of our adventures (Privateer doesn't suck, either...)

The Workskiff 16 will give you more fish per gallon than anything else on the water. The construction is welded alloy plate, not riveted sheet aluminum, and is pretty rock-proof....
