Great looking boat, probably rides great, but shouldn't a 23 with twin 175 (not 200's or 250's) get better milage? i guess I could be wrong

He said those numbers are with the boat loaded, AND he posted them in nmpg, versus mpg. Seems on par to me.

Yea, my bad on the loaded part, but I would like to see 2.00 mpg (nmpg) on a 23' boat with twins. Beautiful boat, guess I can't get everything

Thanks for the compliments.

The numbers are with the boat loaded pretty heavy, full fuel, livewell, fishbox full of ice, 4 people and gear. Light the boat will see over 2nmpg at about 30knots.

LOA 24' 11"
Beam 8' 8"

Yes. If I did my math right; 1.0 nmpg = 1.15 mpg, so...

1.75 nmpg = 2.01 mpg
1.6 nmpg = 1.84 mpg
1.2 nmpg = 1.38 mpg

I live in the Cape also. Great boat, i've looked at it in the boat trader more than once and think to myself, someones gonna get a very very nice setup. I have a 24' Hydrasport Vector/Verado300 (almost got the twin 175 V's but cheaped out w/ the economy and all, lol) and, imo, boats in this size class get awesome gas mileage and are setup for pretty hardcore offshore fishing, and are relatively affordable to boot.

I have seen only 1 boat, in this size class, (no offense to any other brands, jmho) that i would rather have instead of mine, this is the one...

Whats the "new boat"? If you don't mind me asking.

Does the boat come with downrigger or just have the DC plug for them. Also is there a fresh water washdown and was the boat used as a kingfish tournament boat.

The boat does not come with downriggers, just the DC plugs. There is no freshwater washdown and the boat has never been tournament fished.

The new boat is a Yellowfin 36'
