Default Blackfin 29' Combi w/outboards +trailer SOLD SOLD SOLD

This boat has less than 50 hours in the water since it was purchased new in 1986!! This boat was built by Blackfin Yacht as an outboard powered boat and it is NOT a refit!! It has spent most of it's life stored indoors. Includes MYCO custom triple axle 18,000# GVW rated trailer that has never been submerged in water and therefore is in very good condition. Trailer tows extremely well behind a 1 ton truck. Trailer has surge brakes and just completed a 400 mile trip with no issues.

May consider PARTIAL trade (less than $10K in trade value) for LATE MODEL, 2002 or NEWER daily driver vehicle with less than 50K miles, smaller (21'-25') similar quality boat(unpowered OK), 2002 or newer sport bike(cbr, yzf, gsxr), mini excavator, or? If you have something nice to trade, email me with details, pics and what trade value you would like to receive for it and I will let you know if I am interested or not.

Features:

1987 275HP V8 Johnson Outboards - low water pick ups, SS 4-blade props. All indications are that these would be strong running engines, but I have never heard run and cannot guarantee anything with relevance to them. A local marine shop performed a compression test 3-3-08 and the results were good. They spin freely and are in good overall condition with no electrolysis or heavy corrosion, however are not presently in," turn key", running condition. I would think with a carburetor service, general tune-up and going over, they would be strong, serviceable engines, but I will not guarantee anything about them as I have not personally operated them and would be speaking, "out of turn" if I did. I am selling for the value of the boat, trailer, and all related accessories. The engines are just a bonus. They may run great and last 2500 hours, or they may last 25. I can remove them if you plan on repowering but there will be no price adjustment. It's $28K or it will sit until I have more time to dedicate to it.

For those interested in repower costs, Google Ed's Marine Superstore in VA and search for outboard pricing. They are currently running specials on Yamaha and Suzuki 4-strokes at incredible pricing with 6 year warranties included.

Also, just to re-emphasize, this boat has less than 50 total hours since new. Meaning that since it left the Blackfin Yacht factory in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, it has been used in the water less than 50 total hours!! It has never been damaged or sunk. All manuals for installed equipment and electronics and original Blackfin literature (a large file box full) is included. A free and clear title for the boat and trailer will be provided to the buyer.

Vessel was last used during the 2003 season.

All lights, switches, pumps, refrigerator, etc. were tested on 2-7-08 and found to be in good working order . Most pictures are recent and taken approximately 2-5-08. There are a few, like the one of it underway, that were taken a few years back.

Wiring is all in perfect order, labeled, secured and not hacked into. All aluminum piping for tower shows no pitting and still has a shine to it. Hull shines as if it were a 2008 boat that has been used for 50 hours. Everything is as a boat with 50 hours on it would show- in very good condition!!

I can assist in arranging for transportation. Local, long distance US, or worldwide. Basically I can provide contacts for reputable, reasonably priced transporters that I have used in the past.

What maintenance was done to the engines before a 22 year layup? Thats an extensive time to sit... I assume they were winterized or something.

Were the engines repainted for cosmetics or???

My buddies 24 Grady had one of these beasts on it. I can only imagine a boat with two...

Looks like a beautiful boat.

No pics of the helm area, seating and head just yet, but I will have some next week!! I believe it weighs 10,200 dry but not 100% on that. Running on a flat day and light on extras, the boat will do around 56 mph!!

Thanks for the compliment Scooby!! It is pretty sweet, and anyone that knows Blackfins knows the quality is outstanding!! The deck space on this thing is unreal for a 29' boat due to the outboards and if it does not sell by April I will be running some charters with it myself!! However, I don't think it will last that long!!

Very nice. The electronics and eqipment bring back some memories. The motors as pictured are both RH, I believe. Is this before the re-power ? Both 4 blades appear RH to me.

Would be quite a boat with twin Verado 300s. The color is perfect.

That is one heck of a rig
Would you consider selling just the hull/trailer?

Thanks for the compliment abjohn!! I wouldn't want to guess what the replacement cost would be on this if blackfin was still around!! Sorry, it is only being sold as a complete package with this power or new 4-strokes.

Are those air intakes on the side of the boat? If this boat has always been outboard powered what are they for?
