80's into early 90's vintage privateers will likely need full rebuilds if not done already. The floors are generally first to go, and they were attached to stringers with nails which rusted creating pockets for moisture to get into and ultimately turning stringers into black mulch as well.

I've been a part of multiple privateer builds and this is my experienced opinion in that regard, just be mindful.

You looking for a project or operational boat? My aunt has an '84 model, dual console, that was good for tubing/kneeboarding in its day but has been sitting in garage for last 15 yrs and needs re-powering at a minimum now.

Check out the Parker 18 as well. Good deck space and takes bay chop nicely.

we are capable to do repairs and a repower . Willing to look at all but prefer a little bit of a project.

I have an early 70's 17ft Aquasport that could fit the bill. Handles chop nicely, has an 85hp two stroke and a 9.9hp kicker on the back--up in VA but just put new tires on the trailer.
