Performance... ha, knew I would have to answer that and didnt take any pics last trip! Cruise is about 1.8-1.9 statute mpg @ 28 to 30 mph. Top end is low 40's mph, maybe 1.3-1.4mpg. Honestly, she is over propped and that was on my list for this winter. Has 19 pitch, think 17 would do the trick. Last trip out of Oregon Inlet, ran about 5 miles north of tuna hole, fished to a couple miles south of the point, and burned 61 gallons. That was with full fishing load including about 300# ice, and starting with a full 200 gal tank.

Top work was Metalworks. He did a good job, but my opening got bumped a lot.

Btw, boat has 200 gal of 93 non ethanol in her, ha.

Yamaha performance bulletin had the boat propped with 14 1/2 x 19 props and just hitting 50mph at top end.
That is a solid boat.

Thanks Lou, I suspect with a little prop fine tuning she would be right on with that.

No bottom paint.
Bilge access- there is a vertical hatch under the rear folding bench seat. It's probably about a 12x32" opening. I'm a 6-3 235# guy, and if careful, I can shimmy my upper body into the opening.
Batteries are located on a shelf inside the console at deck level, at the back of the console. In second pic, that is looking into the console side door, and batteries are at left bottom of pic.
Note these are older pics during the refit, and the DSM 300 is no longer there.

I have a lifted 1/2 ton dodge 5.7 with stiffer springs in the rear. Does okay, but the mpg isnt the greatest. Towed with my father's 2500 Cummins a couple times and that was like nothing behind the truck.

Yeah that's why I ask. Probably one of the heaviest 26s made.

I could care less about MPGs when towing a beast like that. Iv always wondered if my F150 could hack it and if it would feel confident towing that close to max tow.

Hey Cheddar- I don't feel like it pushes me around or anything. I'm really comfortable towing it, and with brakes on all 4 tires, it stops pretty well. She doesn't have any sway at all and reacts very predictable. I've been towing her 4 1/2 hours each way to the outer banks in NC, and haven't had an issue. For a halfton truck, some airbags or stiffer springs would be nice, but if you're towing mainly locally or down to the keys occasionally, I wouldn't think twice. My biggest incentive to keep her in NC vs home was the saving is property taxes. Paying the storage fee there plus NC taxes was within $14 of taxes alone at home. To be 100% honest, the only issue I had was before the new springs, she squatted a little, and then the headlights were aimed a little high while on the country backroads near my house, ha!
