Default (FS) Robalo R260 w/ Twin Yamaha Four Strokes

For sale is my very clean 2004 Robalo R260 "Fishy Business" with twin Yamaha F225 Four Strokes. The whole boat has only 700 hours on her. I have owned the boat for 7 years, originally purchasing it in Beaufort, NC with 150 hours on her. It is in the best condition of any 26' Robalo available, and has been kept with an open checkbook. I wax the boat twice a year, interior and exterior. Everything works as it should and despite a few cosmetic obstacles, shows like new. The boat came with a roller trailer, so in 2013 I purchased a custom trailer from Owens and Sons which tows great and has working disk brakes and working lights.

She is equipped from the factory with a stern 30 gallon live-well, 205 gallon main fuel tank (pressure tested and is in great shape) as well as nav lights, lights under the gunnels, light in the bait well, and a light in the console. There is a removable head in the console that is not pictured. I also have a factory cover that is used to cover the entire boat from bow to stern, including the motors, down to the waterline. Hydraulic tilt steering from SeaStar comes factory, as well as a stainless steel steering wheel and Lenco trim tabs with indicators. On the bow, a windlass anchor makes anchoring a breeze, with a large plow style anchor linked to 15' of anchor chain, attached to 200' of anchor rode. Astern, her euro-transom sports a large tuna door, with an integrated 3-step, foldable ladder. A saltwater and freshwater wash down (15 gallon fresh) came factory on this model. On the starboard side, a plug receptacle is there that feeds into a ProMariner Pro Tournament 100 battery tender for the dual batteries. Towards the cockpit, she has two plugs for electric reels or down riggers under the port and starboard rail. There are lockable rod storage lockers inside both port and starboard sides of the gunnel midship. Under the leaning post, she can fit a yeti 75 or similar which can be used as a bait or beverage cooler. Forward seating with storage below, and a fishbox w/ macerator pump below deck makes storing fish and supplies a non-issue. Pop up cleats, a stainless steel rub rail, and a heavy, true, ride that her 23 degree dead rise sports easily separates this Robalo from many of your budget center consoles. this boat listed back in 2004 for over $130,000.

Below is a list of the upgrades I have done over the past few years:

2017:

Custom fiberglass hardtop with (4) rod holders - done by Don Fulcher of Southern Shores Marine in Williston, NC - $9,000
(1) Garmin 1040xs MFD Chartplotter/Fishfinder w/ GT51 skimmer transducer with Sidevu/Downvu sonar imagery and most up to date Navionics charts - $2,200
(1) iCom IC-424g VHF radio w/ internal GPS - $259.99
(1) iCom IC-M324 VHF in electronics box, NMEA 2000 connected to Garmin - $249.99
(2) Shakespeare 5101 8' antennas w/ stainless folding mounts - $200
Taco Grand Slam outrigger mounts with 15' Telescoping poles. Currently double rigged with 400 pound mono and rollers on the ends of the riggers - $1,500

2018:

3-piece enclosure w/ wings done by Cape Lookout Canvas - $3,500
Lewmar windlass motor replace, port motor tilt and trim pump, replace other frayed wires and other service - $1028.89
Replaced press-fit style deck plates with screw in style in splash well, replaced deck plates under leaning post and in cockpit - $100
Roll control SCUBA tank rack track retrofitted to fit the existing seat brackets in cockpit with (3) adjustable tank brackets - $150

2019:

Twin Yamaha F225 mid-section rebuild, port motor throttle cable, and a long lost of maintenance items - $6,162.27
Freshwater and saltwater wash down pumps replaced and reconfigure freshwater system, batteries load tested and terminals cleaned out - $765.92
Custom Aqua Traction Bolsters in light grey/sea foam green - $850
Memphis speakers in front, JBL speakers in rear - $250

I have invested over $25,000 in the past three years alone. This list isn't complete and as I find more of my receipts and invoices, I will add to it.

Everything works as it should, and I do the boat maintinence every 100 hours with oil, filters, and impeller changes. The boat is lift kept and is flushed with fresh water after every use. I am a charter captain, but only have used this boat for charters for half of this years season only. Previously was just used lightly for family/ fun fishing. I am in the position to move up to something bigger, and want to keep this boat as pristine as possible to let the next owner to enjoy.

I believe she has many years of life left in her and has had a track record of catching big fish!! From riding to Cape Lookout, to fishing out at the Big Rock. From adventures like Scuba diving and spearfishing local wrecks or just talking a leisurely ride down Taylor’s Creek in the evening, this boat is outfitted to do it all in style and comfort! Only things that could use attention would be the seat on leaning post, and maybe the seat in front of the console (minor sun spots). Reason they haven’t been replaced is that every upholstery shop around is slammed packed with work and I was going to wait until non-peak season. The pictures of the boat were taken today (06/24/19).

Included are 6 Type II PFDs, Ditch bag with flares, and a throwable labeled with the vessel's name. Two blue dock lines are also included.

I am asking only $59,900 for boat, motor and trailer. The boat can be seen in Atlantic Beach, NC. Any questions PM, or respond to this thread. Serious Inquiries call or text (919)475-5941 anytime. Already found my next boat, so no trades. I also have enough capital secured to purchase my new boat, so do not need to fire sale this one.

Thanks for looking!

Captain Byron
