Default Angler (Horizon) 18" CC. Where is the fuel tank pickup?

Hi
I have a 1991 Horizon by Angler center console with a 40gal gas tank. It is the original and no it does not leak yet . My fuel hose is old and cracked and I suspect it is leaking air. Either way it's gotta be replaced. I have looked below the center console where the float sensor is and the pickup is not there. The hatch covering the tank compartment runs below the center console and the chair bases. I have finally gotten the chair bases to stay on and really don't want to mess with them. Taking the center console out is a pain too. I have done it before. I would like to put a hatch on the floor above where the fuel pickup is. I cannot find any information on where it might be and I sure don't want to cut any more holes than I need to. Can anyone tell me where to find this out? If I had to guess it would be in the rear but I have heard some strange locations. I am hoping that there is someone here that has changed the tank or has a good enough diagram that I can get right on top of it.

I have had to do this to straighten out a kink that was built into the fuel inlet hose and caused the gas to spit back out if it was put in at any useful speed. I also had to do it in the bottom og one of the storage wells in the front when I discovered that Angler had never connected the drain hoses to the through hull fitting! Water that went into the compartments went into the hull and so did heavy chop. It kept the bilge pump busy! The hull is very good, everything else is downright laughable but somehow it is a lot of fun to drive and I enjoy it.

OK. I'll try getting a cell phone down the fuel gauge access on the forward end and see if I can get some idea. Can't find any info from Angler. Can't find a drop in tank replacement that I can look at to see.

Hi
Sorry the picture is sideways. rotating in editing software doesn't seem to help.
Here is a pic I took fron the access under the center console towards the stern. It seems to be centered and close to the back of the tank. I can make a small hole to explore then locate a hole for a 7" hatch. It would be nice if I didn't run into any other complications. I will let you know what happens in about 12 days. I have to go away before I can get it done. Hope this helps someone who has to do it too. The fuel line is dried and cracking. I wonder if this is damage from the ethanol?
