Emphasis on “new” - Seadeck will blunt blades very quickly so be prepared to switch blades regularly.

Glue the cut edges. Use Weldwood contact adhesive, apply in thin layers allowing it to dry in between. Three layers usually does it. Once dry and tacky you can stick carefully together (you only get one shot at this!) and apply some pressure to make it bond well. That joint will last forever - you'll tear the Seadeck before the glue ever comes apart. If you misalign accidentally then you can use sandpaper to shape and smooth the Seadeck to make an all-but invisible joint .

Wipe all of the oil off of the new razor blade before you cut. 👍🏿
