Default Trim Tab recommendation for 22' Outrage- Tabman?

Second Year of running a 22' classic Outrage w a 225 Honda powering it.
She sits pretty heavy on her marks, I'm looking to get her to plane off quicker, and be able to put the bow down at lower speeds. We get a good SW breeze most afternoons, 2' to 3' chop.
Tom, what model and size tab would you recommend? I'm thinking you have sold quite a few to owners of this particular hull over the years.

12 x 12 BOLT electric would be a good size. As I recall I have seen two different transom setups with that hull. One with a completely flat transom and one where the transom has a small set back in the center. Any way you can post a photo or email it to Tabmanhelp@gmail ? Also would like to see if you have a swim platform / ladder.

I have the same setup and use 12" Lenco tabs...make sure you embed the mounting screws well so they don't pull out!

I would talk to someone that has installed tabs on a Outrage. Boston Whaler never recommended tabs for the Outrage series, they claim that they were not effective.

My 1998 Outrage 20 runs night and day better w/ the tabs after I installed them.. They were an option from the factory but my boat didn’t have it when bought used. The tabs in my mind are a must have for that boat.

I’d have to doublecheck but the set that i put on are 9x10 if I remember correctly. (Longer than width). Mounting the top of the actuator was extremely tight w/ the small swim platform/step on the port side.

9 inch was the factory option, more than sufficient.
